The goal of Breast Intentions is to provide crisis intervention for women who are facing financial hardship as they battle breast cancer. Additionally, through our Pink Pact® initiative, it is the goal of Breast Intentions to educate young women about breast health and the need for regular breast self-examinations.
We create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. This is a place that only the child can dream or imagine while addressing their medical needs. Our focus is answering one question; Where does a child go when battling a serious illness to find peace and comfort?
Our Hugs & Wishes Program was started in 2010 as a way to help those in our community who are in need, disabled, struggling through a difficult time or need a special hug. Our wishes program has become the heart of our organization, fullfilling over 400 wishes since we began.
Monthly donations are made to Comer Children’s hospital, Edward/Elmhurst hospital, and Central DuPage’s Child Life Department. Art Supplies, Games, Comfort Items and Toys for the children and teens to use either in the play room or their hospital room.
Supporting parents with critically ill children so that they can spend as much time as possible sharing essential normal moments with their children.
Get a “David” all your own – someone to look after your pets, your plants, and/or your home who can also provide emotional support.
The Kindness Gala Foundation (501c3) is an organization that hosts the Kindness Gala every year which celebrates local non-profit organizations whose mission it is to give back to the people in our own communities. It’s an event that celebrates human kindness, compassion, generosity.
We are community members and Kindness Ambassadors who are providing a platform for local NPOs to gain awareness and more funding from the communities they work within. Please know that ALL of the ticket sale profits from this event go directly to the Non-Profit groups who are our Honored Guests in attendance.
